For the past several months I have been working with a customer that has very complex color printing needs. Here is their story...
A few months ago a local Idaho company decided it was time to take control of their corporate image in all of the different printed material they produced. For years, printing was produced internally from printers of varying brands and types, or outsourced to various print shops; everything was designed with different color schemes depending on who printed it. Color consistency wasn’t the only issue faced by this business. The ability to print (using many different types of paper), bind (with multiple binding options) and ship in the same afternoon, as well as provide easy access to the 50+ internal users, was just as critical.
After researching various options, it was decided that Canon’s imagePRESS C6000 met their needs and gave them the control and options they were looking for. The imagePRESS offered them excellent color quality, consistency, and control that allowed for a consistent corporate color scheme to be created and produced. The in-line finishing options – GBC and 3-hole punch, saddle-stitch booklets, perfect binding, and trimming, made it easy to meet tight deadlines by producing finished products.
Within a couple of months of acquiring the Canon imagePRESS C6000, the customer has not just noticed the quick Return On Investment- it has noticed an even quicker Return On Happiness for its internal users.
