Most people probably don't think of cemeteries as cutting-edge, but thanks to David Day and Names In Stone, that perception is changing.
One of the most fun things about my job as Customer Advocate at Fisher’s is that I get to meet new and interesting people. Recently I got the pleasure of meeting David Day from Gateway Mapping (a division of J-U-B Engineers). David’s company specializes digital maps, and a few years ago they realized that cemeteries could greatly benefit from their mapping expertise. That idea grew into a website where both municipal cemeteries as well as volunteers can upload and view maps of cemetery graves.
